Missing traveling? Missing the cold cold weather and lively atmosphere during Christmas period in Japan last year? Since we cannot travel overseas how about we do something special together this year? 

Welcome to join our Wagashi & Chado experience class. Let's learn how to make  Japanese traditional confectionary and Chado presentation together!

Invite your good friends come together to learn new skills, taste the Wagashi and drink the Japanese tea made by yourself, as if you are really traveling.

Learning Objectives:
  • How to cook wagashi An (Instructor Demo)
  • How to color An
  • How to divide An
  • How to wrapping  stuffing / HouAn 
  • How to use modeling tools
  • How to cut An
  • How to use scissors 
  • How to make small parts and all the necessary techniques to make 2 works as photo shows
  • Traditional Chado presentation skills

Course Features:

  • Specially invite local experienced and talented WAGASHI instructor.
  • All ingredients and tools will be provided
  • Ingredients only white/red bean paste, caster sugar, glutinous rice flour and Natural food color 
  • No oil, no egg, no milk, low sugar, vagan
  • Recipe for snowman and Christmas tree will be provided
  • Special Wagashi  box provided
  • Language: English, Chinese, Japanese and Cantonese  

Duration: 2 hours//  Snowman & Christmas tree (80 mins)   Chado  presentation &

                  hands on (20 mins),    tasting and free communication (20 mins)
